A Kickstarter Project from a Friend (with my art!)

Hey Friends! It's been a minute, hasn't it?
I still think with awe about the project we created together. The fact that it's still out in the world, living its own life and touching others -- it blows my mind! And it couldn't have happened without you.
There are plans for this project to continue in a new way in the next year, and I'll update you more on that when we get closer, but for now I'd love to share with you one of the things I've created this year!
On a cold January morning Drew Miller asked if I would collaborate with him on a new music album, There Will be Surprises. The songs for this album were mostly written during 2020, and they echo so much of my heart, grief, struggle, and hope from the last 18 months. So for the last 9 months Drew and I have taken on the challenge (and joy!) of visually translating these songs and their themes. If you'd like to hear more about this process, and how I created these pieces, you can see Drew and I chat about it here.
I created the album artwork, covers for individual songs, and more that will come when the project is funded! Prints of these are available as Kickstarter rewards for the campaign that ends in 6 days!
We need $2,520 in the next 5 days to fund the album. After 9 months of listening to these songs, I truly believe the world needs these words and melodies, and the hope they carry. I know I did (and still do.)

Hello everyone!
Two updates in one week?! Clearly we're in the thick of things again!
A couple quick announcements before jumping into the goal of this update:
1. There are 20 of you who have not finished your surveys. You've likely been getting incessant emails from BackerKit about this -- but as a reminder, we cannot send your digital downloads or order your prints if you don't complete your survey. We are placing print orders this week to try to hit the July delivery estimate, but if your survey is not completed in the next couple days we cannot guarantee a July delivery date. If you have any questions or need help with your survey, please email us and we are happy to help! [email protected] or [email protected]
2. If you've finished your survey then you should have received your digital download! Many of you have sent photos and messages of how you are using your digital download -- I've loved that! Thank you!! If you share on social media, remember to tag @kyra_hinton_studio so I can see! So, now for the big announcements!
As I've mentioned many times, my favorite part of this project was getting to interact with so many of you and your stories. In the research and creation phase of this project, I was having hundreds of conversations with lovely humans of all types. You invited me into your stories, and we walked a bit of your path together as we processed this art, and where you find yourself in your journey. It was so transformative to me, and reminded me of my why.
I love making art, but even more I love interacting with the humans who find themselves within it. Reconnecting with the human element reminded me of the mentoring and coaching heart that encouraged me into the mental health field nearly 10 years ago. Being able to merge my art with walking along fellow humans -- giving courage, reminding of beauty, and sharing actionable steps to growth in a grace-based way.. it makes my heart thrill!
Because of this, I've developed a few ways to lean into this passion, and integrate further into the community:
There is now an entire wing on my website for all things Enneagram! Here you will find a continually expanding hub of Enneagram resources, including videos, coaching resources, downloads, and more! The first phase of this includes **drumroll please**:

Although the research/interaction aspect of this project is wrapped up, I want to keep diving into the community, using the Enneagram to help individuals, relationships, and businesses thrive.
To do this I have done even MORE research (yes, on top of the 9 months I spent preparing for this project!), I've enrolled in training and licensing courses, and will be going to the International Enneagram Conference next week to learn from the leading experts in this field.
Equipped with this knowledge, and my deep passion to see freedom, growth, and grace in the lives of fellow humans, I am launching two opportunities for YOU to learn more about the Enneagram, and dive into how this tool can help you discover who you were made to be, and live abundantly.
1. I am SO excited to offer one-on-one coaching sessions! I cannot wait to discuss more with you, diving into your human experience and how it can be a beautiful thing. For now, I am offering two types of sessions -- you can learn more and sign up here.
2. If you happen to live in the Roanoke, VA area, I will be teaching an introductory Enneagram class on August 5th. I'd love for you to join, and to meet you in person! You can learn more and get tickets here.

Production Update

Hey everyone!
Thank you for your patience! We have had a busy couple weeks with a bunch of behind the scenes work!
And now we have production updates for you!
1. Digital downloads just went out moments ago! Check your emails!
2. We got the final go-ahead from our printer today, so prints will all be shipping in July!
3. Cards are right on track to ship in August. In fact we just got a production order that may be our final one!

SURVEYS ARE OUT

In record time for any of our campaigns, surveys were sent out moments ago -- less than 5 days after campaign close!
HOORAY!
BACKERS, CHECK YOUR EMAIL
The email is sent from my name (Kyra Hinton) with BackerKit headings, and the title starts with, "Response Needed." In this email is a link to your personalized survey.
When you open it, it will show you your pledge tier and amount. The questions are specific to your reward tier, and will walk you through every item, allowing you to select the print images, digital download image, and any upgrades to your free Enneagram symbol print.
[NOTE: If the system won't continue past a page with a notes section, make sure you put something, even just a ".", into the text box. This is a glitch that we always get questions about.]
ADD-ON STORE
You will then be directed through the add-on store, where any funds you manually added into your pledge can be used for additional items. This is where you will add your box sets of cards if you backed at a print tier, or if you put in money for additional prints, etc. Want more than one box of cards, or need more prints? This is where you can add those!
Also, if you were wanting to commission a custom double-exposure, you will add that commission fee on in here. (This is the fee for working with me one-on-one to make your image, and does not include the print.) Make sure you've added a print for the commissioned image, and allotted that in the drop down menu on the print selection.
There are some other fun items in this add-on store, including sawtooth hangers for your prints so you can hang them directly on the wall (no frame needed). You will need to purchase these for each print you want them on. If you want sawtooth hangers for only certain prints in your order, be sure to denote which ones in the notes section.
Wanted additional digital downloads? Those are in this add-on store too!
After all of this, you'll be sent through a check-out page where you can pay additional amounts for any added items. Once this is done -- shout, cheer, hoorah! You've finished your part and are one step closer to getting your items!
The sooner you fill out your survey the sooner we can get these out! Our printer is standing by to help us reach our goal of getting all prints shipped in July, but we need your responses to be able to do so!
